The Daughters of the King: A Holy Order. The Daughters of the King have a "Rule of Life"-Daughters pledge themselves to a life of daily prayer, service, and personal evangelism. At FCEC the Holy Comforter Chapter of the Daughters pray before the 10:00 service each Sunday. One Daughter each week calls the households listed on the prayer rotation, listed in the Sunday bulletin, to inquire about special prayer requests.

The Daughters also plan and organize the Dove Project each Thanksgiving and Easter. They provide remembrance notebooks to the families of deceased members, and they are available for projects for the Rector. They meet the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 in the parlor. Education
Children’s Chapel (pre-K) provided during the 10:00 AM service. Children join the congregation for communion.
Church School for children age’s kindergarten through fifth grade is held every Sunday at 9:00 AM.
Middle School education designed for sixth through eighth grades is held every Sunday at 9:00 AM. Confirmation classes for seventh and eighth grade.
High School education designed for ninth through twelfth grades is held every Sunday at 9:00 AM.
Educational Round Tables for adults are held on most Sunday’s at 9:00 AM.

Fellowship
The Choir. Practices are on Thursdays at 4:00 PM. for the Junior choir and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. for the Senior choir. For more information, contact Clark Bedford at 412-963-8938.

Fellowship. Coffee hour takes place at 9:00 AM. between the two services. Potluck dinners, picnics and other gatherings are held regularly. Men’s and Women’s Bible Study groups meet weekly.

Outreach. Service for and in the community is an important part of our church life. The parish supports several outreach programs.
